SEMRush guest blog article - We called it! Structured Data and Search Engine Ranking Factors (downloadable from archive.org here)

In 2016, while on the team at NY Daily News Digital Solutions, I developed a follow up article on Structured Data with my colleague Tara Clapper at SEMRush. We originally described Structured Data in a prior article, and discussed Google’s implementation of the concept in 2016.

• I co-wrote the article using witty Marvel movie references and a self-deprecating tone to garner a chuckle while passing along important SEO concepts that SEOs could use in their strategies

• Tara reported to me substantial traffic numbers which indicated increased lead flow for both SEMRush and NY DNDS

• The article continued a great collaborative relation between myself and Tara, started when I was at Didit.
